Limited Edition System
We’re excited to offer our models in a unique limited edition format, designed for collectors and fans who love something truly special.
Open Editions
Models that were previously an open edition are now retiring. We're honoring this by making the last pieces a special, limited edition. This final run of 20 pieces is meant to mark the close of an era with something unique and collectible.
Limiting the edition allows us room to evolve our collection with new ideas, sculpts, and designs. As our creative direction continues to grow, we want to keep the line fresh and exciting while honoring the classics with thoughtful, intentional send-offs like this one. This system also allows us to recover inventory so that we can streamline back to 24-hour flash shipping.
Here’s how it works:
First Edition
- Each model is first released as a First Edition of 20-25 pieces.
- This edition is produced in a limited quantity, making it exclusive and collectible.
- It features unique details that distinguish it from any future editions (like mane/tail styles, positioning, etc).
- Once the First Edition sells out, it's retired.
Possibility of a Second Edition
- If there's continued demand after the First Edition sells out, we may release a Second Edition.
- Important: The Second Edition will also be a limited run, and will feature slight variations so it’s distinct from the First.
- If time does not allow, there won’t be a Second Edition, making the First Edition the only release.
- Second Editions will be released in an even smaller quantity.
- Second Editions will be more expensive as they are more limited and we have to recover production costs.
Once It’s Gone, It’s Gone
- Each edition is produced only once. Once it sells out, that version will never be made again.
- So if you love a particular version, we recommend snagging it while it's available!
Previously Unlimited Models
- All models that were previously not numbered have now been moved to a Limited Edition, with 20 pieces (or less) remaining before they are discontinued.
- All models have a progress bar to show approximately how many have been sold so that you can plan your roundup easily.
Archives
- All discontinued model will be moved to the archives, along with their galleries of painted models.
Customizing Policy
Having fun with your model is encouraged... customize the appearance as you like by changing the mane or tail, tweaking conformation to suit another breed, adding wings, horns, or anything else that may inspire creativity for your one-of-a-kind sculpture.
Models from Seunta LLC may not be reproduced. Although customizing is encouraged, reproducing the model for sale is not allowed. This includes using a model from Seunta LLC as armature for a new creation.
Outside casting is currently not accepted.
Our casting services are now reserved for guild members.
We provide rotocasting for production of hollow models, in addition to pressure casting for solid models.
1:9, 1:12, 1:15, 1:20 scale models are never 3D printed. All models in this scale are traditionally cast artist resin models that have stainless steel wire support using a process that has been proven to last for generations. Any models labeled "artist resin" or “resin” will refer to this process.
1:32, 1:28, 1:40, 1:64, 1:120 scale models are 3D prints or pewter. Any models 3D printed will be clearly marked as a "print". Any pewter model will be clearly marked as “pewter.”
Our Waiting List
On any section of this website where models are sold (Archives, Traditional Models, etc) there is an option to signup for a waiting list. This list is only for the model that you are viewing at that time. Each model has a separate list. This process is in place for models that are not yet in production and also for any models that are out of stock or discontinued.
This is not a subscription to any newsletter. Being on the list does not guarantee a model and models cannot be held for anyone. But this process will assist you in getting the model that you want.
OUT OF STOCK MODELS
Many models are out of stock as we are a small shop. In this case, these lists will help us to determine which models should be restocked quickly.
”Out of Stock” means there is no inventory for that model.
Model Production & Editions
Sales are generally twice each year - the annual summer sale (July) and holiday sale (November).
SUBSCRIBER SPECIAL RUN MODELS
Periodically, a new traditional size artist resin model may be offered to subscribers You must be a current newsletter subscriber to purchase the model from the online store. Newsletter subscribers will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase micro minis.
MODEL ARCHIVES
Retired and discontinued models will become a part of the archives at seunta.com. These models are basically horses that are out to pasture, and will appear on the model archives page.
Out of stock models can be either open or limited edition models. If a model is not on the shelf and available to be shipped immediately it will be in out-of-stock status until more copies can be cast. No orders will be taken during that time.
The best copies always go to our customers in order to assure that quality work from Seunta is represented.
